Support me as I walk to end Alzheimer's!

In 1993, the year I was born, my Grandma Eileen could not wait to see me. She would hold me, sing to me, feed me, change me and most of all, she loved me. She called me “Grandma’s Angel.” In 1997, my Grandma started to get a little forgetful. As the years went on, she started to repeat herself and forget how to do simple things.
They say life comes full circle. Instead of Grandma feeding me, we fed her. Instead of Grandma changing me, we changed her. Even though she suffered from severe Alzheimer’s she would still hug me and call me Grandma’s Angel. She never forgot how to love me and I will never forget how I loved her. Grandma died, January 15, 2005. In her honor we walk in the memory walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s Disease. Our name is fitting--------Grandma’s Angels.
I am determined to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. By participating in the 2009 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.

Currently more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's, and 78 million baby boomers are at risk – unless we find a way to change the course of the disease.

I want to do my part to fight this disease, but I need to ask for your support! If you could make a $5.00 or $10.00 donation it would go a long way to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.

On behalf of the millions of Americans who are living with this disease, thank you for supporting my efforts. We're on the MOVE to end Alzheimer’s!
